Which Vitamin Willcuase Hard Stool?

507 - MESSAGE OF POPE BENEDICT XVI

The unification process took place in Italy during the nineteenth century and made history as the Risorgimento, was the natural result of developing a national identity began long before. In fact, the Italian nation, as a community of people united by language, culture, feelings of belonging to the same, albeit in the plurality of political communities on the divided peninsula begins to form in the Middle Ages. Christianity has contributed significantly to the construction of Italian identity through the work of the Church, its educational institutions and health care, setting standards of behavior, institutional forms, social relations, but also by a wealth of artistic activity: literature, painting, sculpture, architecture, music. Dante, Giotto, Petrarch, Michelangelo, Raphael, Pierluigi da Palestrina, Caravaggio, Scarlatti, Bernini and Borromini are just some of a line of great artists who, over the centuries, have made a fundamental contribution to training the Italian identity. Even the experience of holiness, that many have punctuated the history of Italy, contributed heavily to build that identity, not only in the specific profile of a particular realization of the Gospel message, which marked time in the experience religion and spirituality of the Italians (think big and expressions of popular piety), but also the cultural and even political. St. Francis of Assisi, for example, is also known for its contribution to shaping the national language; St. Catherine of Siena offers, although simple commoner, a powerful stimulus to the development of an Italian legal and political thought. The contribution of believers of the Church and in the process of formation and consolidation of national identity continues in modern and contemporary art. Even when parts of the peninsula were subjected to the sovereignty of foreign powers, it was thanks to this identity is now a clear and strong that, despite the long-term geopolitical fragmentation, the Italian nation could continue to exist and to be self-conscious. Therefore, the unification of Italy, realizzatasi in the second half of the nineteenth century, could not take place as an artificial construction of political identities, but as a natural result of a political long-standing national identity, to exist for some time. The nascent political community united at the end of the cycle Risorgimento was, ultimately, as the glue that held together the local diversity while still remaining, just the pre-existing national identity, whose shaping Christianity and the Church have made a fundamental contribution.

506 - SEEK THE KINGDOM OF GOD

If we looked for subtle, we would be scared to see what man should seek the his self-interest in all things, behind the other men, in words, in deeds, in the gifts, services. He's always in sight of his personal good: joy, interest, glory, to receive service, always some benefit for himself. This seek and pursue the creatures, and also in the service of God no man sees nothing but earthly things, like the woman in turn tells us the gospel, which was all spills to the ground and could not straighten up (Luke 13:4). Our Lord says that "no man can serve two masters, God and wealth" and goes on to say "look before - that is, first and foremost - the Kingdom of God and his righteousness" (Matthew 6,24.33).

Be careful, therefore, to depths that are within you, and seek only the Kingdom of God and his righteousness - that look that only God is the true kingdom. We want this kingdom and we ask every day in the Our Father. The Our Father prayer is a very high and very powerful. You do not know what you are asking (Mark 10:38). God is the person in his kingdom, the kingdom reasonable of all creatures, the term of their motions and their inspirations. The realm we ask, is God himself, in all its richness ...

When a man has these provisions, seeking, wanting, desiring only God, himself became the kingdom of God and God reigns in him. In her heart the eternal King then reigning magnificently that supports it and governs it, the seat of this kingdom is in the depths of his soul.

Gospel Matthew 4:1-11: the identity of the three temptations Jesus' filial son is the one who waits for God for the gift that makes him live, he trusts the Father without having to test, does not pretend no power because it does not live by what he has, but what he receives.

Pattern For A Male Hemp Bracelet

504 - FIRST SUNDAY OF LENT

E 'marked, in our Ambrosian liturgical tradition, the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus' temptations in the wilderness according to the story of Matthew

This passage from the Gospel (Mt 4.1 - 11) follows immediately the story of the baptism in the Jordan: Mt 3:13-17 and is linked to it placed its focus on the Spirit in the "lead" Jesus in the desert to meet the temptation on the part of the "devil", a Greek word means "one who divides or detract" from God (v. 1)

Verse 2, with reference to the experience of Moses at Sinai (Exodus 24.18, 34.28) and the prophet Elijah in the wilderness (1 Kings 19:8), Jesus says that "after he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. " That finding is part of the first temptation (vv. 3-4) could be called that of "bread". It reference to "food" that man really needs to "live" and that, according to the answer of Jesus to the tempter, taken from Deuteronomy 8.3, consists of "every word that proceeds from the mouth of God 'and that is preserved and transmitted to us in the Scriptures.

The second is the temptation of the "highest point of the temple (vv. 5-7) of Jerusalem, from where Jesus was invited to throw themselves by challenging God himself, according to Psalm 91.11 - 12 partially quoted by the devil, should intervene in her protection and care. The answer of Jesus, taken from Deuteronomy 6.16 excludes the claim to wait for a miraculous sign from God to believe and obey him.

The third temptation is the "very high mountain" (vv. 8-10), from which Satan shows Jesus in his kingdom, that the whole world, and is willing to sell it to him in a condition: that Jesus turn your back on God, thereby breaking his filial relationship with him! With its strong response, taken from Deuteronomy 6.13, Jesus himself away from the tempter, and reiterates its full and final obedience to the Father which is in the worship and true worship to God

The story close to v. 11 with the abandon that Satan was defeated, the field and with the presence of "Angels" who take care of Jesus

proclaimed the beginning of Lent, the liturgical-oriented annual solemn celebration of Easter, will present today's Gospel Jesus, the obedient son of the Father, which model and example to look at and to play in the lives of those who, through immersion baptism in the death of the Lord is reborn to new life as a "child" is built into the body of the Lord is the Church.

The "temptation" to which Jesus endured in the desert has occurred because all were in him the inspiration of words, feelings and actions to be put in the path of our lives during which the "enemy" will do anything to distract us from the "mouth" of God, to insinuate doubt tearing on its actual goodness and fatherhood in our concerns and for us to turn your back, refusing to "worship" and "serve" or to lend him play and filial obedience to worship and serve the "idols" inconsistent with this ephemeral world.

This Lent offers us some "exercises" such as spiritual, for example, the "fast" well known in Scripture and, as we as practiced by the Lord himself. It to be "pleasing" to God should not be limited to a simple deprivation of food material for its own sake. Fasting, in fact, must be given the opportunity to fully understand the Lord's words: "I do not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."

fasting, must also be given a soul, as we learn from the prophetic words of Reading, is love so concretely exemplified: "loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to free the oppressed ... share your bread with the hungry, in the poor house the homeless, clothe the naked when you see '(Isaiah 58.6-7).

Moreover, it is the love of God to bring about "in Christ" His Son "reconciliation" humiliated and impoverished humanity from sin, that God decides to "not charge" to men because of it, with unutterable love, Jesus is loaded (see Epistle: 2 Corinthians 5.19 b). The Lenten journey towards Easter, thus becomes exemplary of the way our entire existence.

order not to fail and do not succumb to the wiles of the "tempting". liturgical prayer calls us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, in which, as we say in the Preface: "Father recognize the word that created everything, and he found the true and living bread that sustains us here in the arduous path of good and up there we will satisfy the substance of his blissful eternity in heaven. "

How Many Calories In Ham And Bean Soup?

502 - THE SUNDAY OF FORGIVENESS

The Gospel of Luke 15.11-32 presents the third of the parables told by Jesus to responding to the Pharisees and scribes who rebuked him for his hospitality and helpfulness toward "sinners" with whom even sit at the table (Matthew 15:1-2). The first two are respectively one of the "lost and found sheep" (vv. 4-7) and "money lost and found" (vv. 8-10).

The parable today proclaimed that the Father as the main character, is divided into two parts. The first concerns the "younger son" before "Lost" and then "found" (vv. 11-24) and the second speaks of the "eldest son" who has never moved from home and that, in truth, not is heard and acted as a true "son" (vv. 25-30). The vv. 31-32, finally, report the response of the Father, the eldest son, where we have the revelation of God's goodness towards all men, and with whom, Jesus the messenger of God, justifies his merciful attitude especially to the "lost" or "sinners".

The parable begins with the request of a minor child to have the share of property belonging to him on the basis of the provisions of the Law (see Leviticus 27.8 to 11, and numbers from 36.7 to 9) and His departure from home to "a far country" where it quickly runs out of his property leading a disorderly life (vv. 12-13).

I vv. 14-16 marks the sudden change of living conditions of young people who are out of necessity to take care of a herd of pigs. This is a matter prohibited by law and sign dell'abiezione deeper to a Jew.

The observation reported in v. 17 is crucial for the profound change of heart of the boy. Finally "returned" in spirit itself making its way back to the house of the Father and conveniently preparing a meeting with him, acknowledging his "sin" (vv. 17-19).

Hence the decision to return to actually from the Father (v. 20) which even got a great emotion to meet him and perform acts of "recognition" of the prodigal son as his "son" (hugs him and kisses him.) The overflowing love of the Father does not allow him even to open her mouth, in fact is manifested by signs of a generous reception: the best robe, ring, the sandals, the fatted calf that is full of food because the party is full (v. 22 -23).

Verse 24 shows the reasons for this: the son was "dead" is "alive again," the child who had "lost" has been "found" and returned love of the Father.

The second part describes the reaction of the "eldest son" once learned, mind you not from the Father, but by a servant, the reason for the feast (vv. 26-27). This time he is away from home without bothering to cause pain in the heart of the Father had to go out to meet him and even "to pray" (v. 28). His words say in truth that he has never really considered the "son" putting themselves in a relationship of "service" certainly not so obedient to formally affiliate with the Father. Relationship, as is the case, should be rewarded at least by a "kid."

The response of the Father wants to reassure the older son that her feelings for him are no less than those reserved for the wayward son and invited him to celebrate, to rejoice with him that he recovered a "son" to her love and himself a "brother."

Proclaimed on this Sunday that bridges the gap between the time after the Epiphany of the Lord and that of Lent, the parable of the good Father and two sons, both "Lost" will encourage everyone to undertake in the next season of Lent , a journey of conversion and decided to return to God

With his words and his actions Jesus has done with obvious clarity to understand that God the Father "is good and great love" (Chorus of the Responsorial Psalm) to all, without exception. There are no men or women as far away and even "lost" that God does not take forever in his heart, watching for an opportunity to attract them back to himself, to speak to their hearts (see Reading: Hosea 2:16) to so that they could now count among his children.

Moreover, as the Apostle says, God has already forgiven our sins, indeed meant that "the righteousness of the Law was fulfilled in us because our sin and all of them he has forgiven once "condemned sin in the flesh" that is in the person of His Son who became man in Jesus (cf. Epistle: Romans 8.3).

Such a powerful proclamation of God's truly amazing to be able to move in our hearts that the decision represented a reprieve for the lost son "I get up, go to my father" ( Luke 15:18). He awaits us around the Eucharistic table, where: "The angels are around the altar and Christ the hands of the holy bread and the cup of life for the forgiveness of sins" (The Communion antiphon) to "cleanse us from sins, to give force to our weakness and to guide us to the joy of the eternal kingdom "(Prayer after Communion) at her home.

How To Make Ham Taste Sweet

501 - APOSTOLATE THE PRAYER March 2011

General: That the nations of Latin America may walk in faithfulness to the Gospel and make progress in social justice and peace.

Missionary: That the Holy Spirit gives light and strength to the Christian communities and the faithful persecuted or discriminated against because of the Gospel in many parts of the world.

.

Persecution is something inherent the Church since its founding. You can almost say that it is part of its essence. Since the Lord said: "If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you" (Jn 15, 20), every true Christian and every Christian community should know that will be subject to persecution. The Holy Father Benedict XVI has reaffirmed this concept when he said: "The Church is the same path and suffers the same fate of Christ, for not acting according to human logic or relying on her strength, but by following the path of Cross, becoming, in filial obedience to the Father, the witness and traveling companion of the humanity "(Message for World Mission Sunday 2009, No.4).

St. Augustine says: "The light that is loved by the healthy eyes, is odious for the sick." When the Church faithfully live the message of Christ, is truly light the world ", and this causes discomfort to eye patients. When the Church proclaims the Gospel in full, becomes the "salt of the earth" that burns wounds. We can not ignore that each of us must also make its life in the light of the Gospel and endure the sting of salt, given that we live in a spirit of constant conversion, leaving aside the inconsistencies that often accompany our lives. Otherwise, we will only salt that has no flavor and is only to be thrown on the road, so to be trampled by those who pass.

The persecution was present in the life of Jesus and the early Church. By the time he was writing the book of Revelation, the Church has experienced a time of persecution, tribulation and confusion (cf. Ap 1, 9). However, in view of the Apostle St. John was proclaimed a word of hope: "Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living. I was dead, but now I live forever, and I have the keys of death and Hades "(Rev. 1, 17-18).

Along with the constant presence of Christ, who won the suffering and death through his resurrection, the Church finds the strength to persevere, even in the midst of persecution, thanks to the precious gift of the Holy Spirit: "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit and be witnesses to me" (cf. Acts 1: 8). The Spirit helps with the gift of strength who must provide evidence of their faith in Christ among the opposition, and supports the believers so that they can reach the supreme witness of martyrdom, if necessary.

that this Spirit, which is light and strength of God, support our brothers and sisters living under the test of persecution. This same spirit animates our prayer that is genuine, passionate and committed. The forms of persecution are different in different parts of the world. In some countries resort to the use of physical violence, coercion, threat. In Western cultures today using discredit, insult and ridicule everything that is Christian. May the Holy Spirit makes the Catholic authentic witnesses of Christ, consistent with the Gospel, men who do not fit into this world (cf. Rom 12: 2). Only those who are willing to suffer for the confession of the name of Christ, can truly be his disciples.

Let us pray this month for our persecuted brothers and so our prayer is sincere, let us feel ready to share some of their sufferings for the confession of the crucified and risen Lord.

How To Make Snowmobile Trailer

500-SUNDAY THAT "THE DIVINE MERCY '

Titian, Christ and the adulteress
.
The liturgical tradition of our own Church Ambrosian deal, with the last two Sundays of the time after the Epiphany, the supreme manifestation of the Lord in the hour of the cross and the resurrection to which we are prepared with Lent. This Sunday it foregrounds the "divine mercy" that is revealed in the Lord Jesus, in his words and his actions to the cross.

.

Reading: Baruch 1.15 in; 2.9-15a: Nothing reveals more about the mystery of God's mercy in that he forgives us our sins. More than the creation, is the redemption by which he redeems us from the slavery of evil to reveal that he is our God and we are his.

.

Psalm 105: Give thanks to the Lord, his love is for Semra.

.

Epistle: Romans 7.1-6a: For Paul, the adultery has a symbolic meaning: the betrayal of the spousal relationship in Christ unites us to God's infidelity that may have a subtle form: trust in their observance of the law, so in themselves, rather than the gift of the Spirit.

.

Gospel: John 8:1-11: In addition to the woman, the scribes and Pharisees judged Jesus But he is a real judge and his opinion is a mercy. He does not deny the woman's sin, it also reveals that of his accusers, showing how we all need the Father's mercy.

Indigestion From Lentils

499 - The adulteress

I vv. 1-3 of the Gospel (John 8:1-11) serve as a link with what has been said about the admiration of the crowd for Jesus and the growing aversion Heads of the people against him (John 7.45-52), but also set the stage for this story. This is set in the temple (v. 2), the meeting place of God with his people and, in the temple, ran "all the people" to listen to the teachings of Jesus

I vv . 3-6 record the beginning of evil "scribes and Pharisees" to the end, warns v. Sixth, to put Jesus' to the test or have reason to accuse him. " It is, therefore, taking place before him a woman caught in adultery. A fault, this, that the rules contained in the Law of Moses (see Exodus 20.14, Leviticus 20.10, Deuteronomy 22:22) was certainly punished by death by stoning. Penalty to which, of course, could not escape because the woman taken in the act of committing adultery.

The question posed to Jesus by his enemies (v. 5) was intended to put in a situation of genuine hardship. If Jesus had said a word of forgiveness would clearly go against the law disqualified, as well as "teacher" in Israel. Had Jesus allowed the woman to be sentenced to death would have denied all his teaching and his attitude of forgiveness and acceptance towards "sinners".

Verse 6b Jesus stands at center stage while performing two mysterious gestures, "he bent down and began to write with one finger on the ground", a gesture that repeats (v. 8) due to the insistence of his opponents to get a response from him ( v. 7).

The tradition of the Church as the St. Ambrose, he played the mysterious act of Jesus to write on the ground in the words of the prophet Jeremiah, who by the way of those who turn away from God says that their names "are written on the ground" (Jeremiah 17:13). With this symbolic gesture, Jesus wants to remind all those present on the verdict of God "sinners" ie on all men who, precisely because of their sin, are destined to fade as the dust of the earth.

In a word, Jesus calls the accusers of the woman to return to themselves and to face the truth: they are sinners, like adultery, in itself worthy of God's just condemnation

is what is then clarified by the words of Jesus: "Which of you is without sin cast the first stone at her" (v. 7). With this, Jesus calls the woman's accusers to realize that "no man is righteous before God" (Psalm 14.1-3, 53.2 to 4; Romans 3,9-12.23) and, therefore, all are deserving of condemnation.

Verse 9 shows the reaction of the scribes and Pharisees that if they leave, "beginning with the eldest," because more experienced misery and sin!

I vv. 10-11 finally show the dialogue between Jesus and adultery, left alone in front of him, and he gets back she told him: "No, sir." The Lord's words: "Neither do I condemn you," suggests that he came not to condemn but to save men, sinners! So the woman, henceforth, is called upon by Jesus to "sin no more" to live in that condition of freedom from death sentence due to his sin.

proclaimed in the liturgical context that acts as a unique bridge between the first manifestation of divine mercy and the ultimate moment of the cross, the song features Evangelist with the next season of Lent to Easter to watch the death and resurrection as the " assessment "of God to all men without exception under the yoke of sin, to be understood, however, not condemnation, but absolution and forgiveness.

Jesus' attitude toward the adulterous woman is in perfect harmony with the revelation of mercy and mercy of God towards his people "adulterous" because misled by the perversions of infidelity and idolatry.

awareness of Israel reflected in Psalm 105: "He remembered his covenant with them and was moved with compassion," is recognizable in the invocation of choral reading where the people in exile, becoming aware of his sin appeals to his God, "Leave us your anger ... Lord, hear our prayer, our prayer, deliver for your love "(Baruch 2:13-14).

We, too, posing in front of Jesus, while we open our eyes to our real condition as sinners, we recognize in him the divine mercy that frees us from the deadly circle gives us our sins, as was the adulteress, a new life.

is what the Apostle tells us: "You too, through the body of Christ, you were put to death in the law to belong to another, that is, one who was raised from the dead, that we bear fruit for God "(Epistle: Romans 7.4). The experience of "divine mercy" that is real for all of us in the Eucharistic celebration, we continually return to new life, makes us stronger to persevere in it according to the commandment of the Lord forgave the adulteress, and makes us able to bring "fruit for God, first of all the" leniency "and charity towards our neighbor.

What Kind Of Doctor Treats Elbow Pain

498 - Seventh Sunday after Epiphany

Matthew 9.27-35 The song is composed by the story of the healing of two blind men (vv.27-31) and mute demoniac (vv.32-34) and the guide messianic activity of Jesus (v. 35).

The story of the healing of two blind opens to see 27 with the prayer addressed to Jesus invoked as "Son of David. " In Israel there was in fact the belief that the Messiah would be a descendant of David according to the promise made by God himself (cf. 2 Samuel 7.12 to 16).

All'implorazione Jesus responded by urging the confession of faith of the blind: "Do you think I can do this?" Comes ready and unequivocal: "Yes, Lord" (v. 28). Follows the word of healing: "Let it for you according to your faith," accompanied by the gesture of Jesus that "he touched their eyes" (v. 29).
It makes you think that God, knowing what things we need before you ask Him (cf. Matthew 6:8), however, expects to address our demands whose fulfillment, as we do understand the words of Jesus to the two blind men: "Be it done for you according to your faith" is somehow proportionate to our own faith.

Verse 30 points out that "opened their eyes" and therefore the successful healing of the blind. The story ends with the unnecessary order given by Jesus healed the blind now, "See that no one knows." They could not keep from telling everyone what the teacher of Nazareth had done them.
The second story concerns the healing of the dumb demoniac "(vv. 32-34) that, contrary to earlier story does not include any request for healing since it is a "dumb", or the profession of faith, or words and deeds performed by Jesus We merely stated that "after the devil was cast out, the dumb man to speak" (v . 33).

The emphasis here falls instead on the dual reaction of the crowd and the Pharisees, before such wonders. The people were amazed admiration is simple (see 33b) while the Pharisees crept is the belief that Jesus is acting under the influence of magic and witchcraft. With such an attitude totally devoid of "faith" and blasphemous to boot, the Pharisees, in their closing become the prototype of the unbelievers, able to withstand powerful action of the Spirit working in Jesus for the salvation of men.
The song ends, to see 35, with a brief statement of the evangelizing work of the Lord brought to every town and village, which consists above all in the 'teaching', ie in the explanation of Scripture, preaching and proclaiming the "Gospel of the Kingdom" that is present in his own person and is as shown and confirmed in his work of healing "every disease and every infirmity."
The proclamation of this Gospel passage of time after the Epiphany highlights once again in Jesus, who heals the blind and free of the dumb demoniac evil force, is revealed and manifested the goodness and greatness of God's lyrically sang Psalm 102, which makes us say many times: "The Lord is good and great in love. "

Two Blind, Mute and possessed man healed "every disease and every infirmity" really represent all men, of all time in all latitudes, in fact, in "the mercy of their iniquities," and of dark and demonic forces which are well suited to the reading of the prophetic words: "We all become like an unclean thing, and how unclean are all our acts of justice are all withered like leaves, have brought us our iniquities like the wind "(Isaiah 64.5).

The prompt intervention of Jesus which follows the invocation of two blind men: "Son of David, have mercy on us," tells us that Jesus is the answer of salvation that God gives, once and for all, men who, becoming conscious of their dire situation, they say, "Look: we are all your people" (Isaiah 64: 8).

This work of healing and salvation of the Lord Jesus continue to make in his Church, bringing in itself 'the same sentiments of Christ Jesus "(Epistle: Philippians 2:5) against men, continues to bear wherever the proclamation of the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and illness with the sacrament of the Lord: his body and his blood.

Every man, therefore, can say in all truth: "I will sing unending compassion of the Lord. With my mouth shall proclaim to all peoples your truth "(Singing the breaking of bread).

Who's The Jack In The Box Guy

497 - BLESSED ARE THE PURE OF HEART

shining Like a mirror, so the soul must be pure man. But when the mirror is deteriorating, the man's face can not be seen in it. Similarly, when sin has taken possession of man, he can no longer see God ..
But if you want, you can be healed. Trust your doctor and he shall eyes of your soul and your heart. Who is this doctor? It is God, who through the Word of Wisdom and heals and gives life. God, through the Word and Wisdom, has created all things, in fact: "By the word of the Lord were the heavens made by the breath of his mouth all their host" (Psalm 32, 6). His wisdom is infinite: "The Lord founded the earth with wisdom, has established the heavens with understanding "(Pr 3, 19) ...
If you understand these things, O man, and if you live in purity, holiness and justice, you can see God But first of all go forward in your heart, faith and fear of God and then you will understand all this. Once you've placed your mortality and you'll be covered with immortality, then you will see God in your own merits. Indeed, he does rise together with the soul even your flesh, making it immortal and then, if now you believe in him who has become immortal, you will see the Immortal.

496 - Sixth Sunday after Epiphany

The Gospel of Matthew is 12.9 to 21 clearly divided into two parts: vv. 9-14 and vv. 15-21. The first part contains substantially the healing of a man with a "withered hand" made by Jesus in a synagogue on the Sabbath. The story, therefore, on closer inspection, is developed around the question posed to Jesus by the Pharisees: "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?" (V. 10).

On Saturday, as everyone knows, is one of the pillars of the whole religious concept in Israel. It is part of the law given by God to Moses and consists of a day of rest in imitation of what God himself made within six days of creation. On Saturday, moreover, is intended cult to render to God and, therefore, is a holy day.

In its response (vv. 11-12) Jesus, while emphasizing the primacy of man over all other creatures, says it wants to always place the "do good" on any provision in which sacred is precisely the observance of the Sabbath.

Scripture, moreover, knows and affirms the primacy of "doing good" compliance standards for religious worship. And the case narrated in Reading: Achimelech the priest does not hesitate to give David and his hungry companions, the "holy bread" that was not permissible for anyone to eat if not only for the priests (1 Samuel 21:7). Clearly it is this line of the Pharisees who, in fact, in the conduct of Jesus considered sacrilegious, "held a council against him to destroy him" (v. 14).

The second part of our story, after telling how Jesus escapes the continuing controversy, however, in its efforts to "cure", and how to deal with a long quotation from Isaiah 42.1-4, which is here transcribed in vv. 18-21 and on the peculiar ways in which Jesus lives of his messianic mission: he is in the world to bring the "trial" to all nations, but its not a trial condemnation but to salvation! The sentencing trial will take it upon himself at the hour of the cross so that the proceedings will be for men to salvation.

why he presents himself as the Messiah "mild", who "does not contest either cry or you will hear his voice in the squares. Do not break a bruised reed, nor quench a flame pale. " Indeed, precisely because it does away with the condemnation, because it shows he knows "to take part in our weakness" (Epistle: Hebrews 5:15) in him will really "hope of all nations" (v. 21).

Proclaimed in these days of the liturgical season that aims to bring out different aspects of the Epiphany, the song highlights the miraculous activities in which the Lord reveals His goodness and love toward all men and shows the specific way in which it accomplishes the mission received from the Father by his coming into this world to take part in the man's weaknesses, rather, assumes in his person, to heal and raise every man from the oppression of evil and save the "Feedback" .

good reason, therefore, we can all hope in him, making our own the words of the chants at the entrance: "From my distress I called upon the Lord and he listened to me. I screamed from the bottom of the abyss and you, O God, hast heard my voice. I know that thou art a merciful God, patient and merciful and forgive us our sins. "

All this leads the church, every community and every believer to think carefully about their way of facing the man who now appears as "paralyzed" and "weakened" the extreme disbelief, indifference and sin. In imitation of Christ the Lord surely must face the evil that afflicts man with an attitude, however, continues to patient and considerate reception which alone is able to extend the work of salvation accomplished by the Lord when, on the cross, is charged with all the "weaknesses" of man to bring it into the "rest" that lasts the space of a day, but that is their eternal happiness.

invitation to listen:
Sometimes we go and get some work among the least heard. And although Puccini is the last great master of Italian opera, some of his compositions are certainly overshadowed by the great classics heard around the world. This is the case of Le Villi, the first opera composed to a libretto by Fontana. An immediate and overwhelming success, although the score has experienced a long labor. Today we are then asked to recover the first work by Puccini, a piece of theater history that we can not ignore.

Review: This is a blog dedicated to Opera, true, but every now and then we like to wander a bit 'and we take the liberty to point out something else. So here we happened to hear this fine CD with the number 8 and 9 symphonies of the composer Dvorak. "From the New World" ... there are jobs that give immortality, and these two symphonies (especially the elegance and the overwhelming passion of the number 9) will be forever linked to the history of music, giving to Dvorak immortality he deserves. Levine to conduct the orchestra in a splendid form, as always, we appreciate that the director in many operatic performances and on this occasion gives us a performance masterful, refined and precise. And then, to appreciate a cd of this quality at a price well bass is truly an opportunity not to be missed. One of the most deserving symphonies of all time, and a director who is among the largest ever. Uncd to listen and not to be missed.
