Ascending Wagner, echoes of Mahler, the influence of Ravel. The tragic passion of love of its protagonist, a pastoral setting, it returns to a place where it already sounded as far back as May 13, 1905, when it was performed for the first time in the Italian version, with the author himself on the podium. It is now being proposed in the original language (French) with translation sovratitolata. The new production is a coproduction with the Opera of Monte Carlo and the Teatro Carlo Goldoni of Livorno.
The choir was prepared by Andrea Giorgi. The Director of the Opera he directed Jean Louis Grinda, Rudy Sabounghi scenes, Teresa Acone costumes, Laurent Castaingt the lighting design.
