Francis Alviti - THE TRIUMPH OF FRIENDSHIP
Yes, friendship! There is no other reason to explain the success of a musical event that has been inhabited for 7 days in Piazza S. John Ceccano to over 350 musicians, singers, dancers. All come with no compensation, only friendship toward the young brave and unfortunate but he had lived his life in a short while so nice to have an incredible number of friends.

Stephen, directed by Luigi Bartolini, the Wind Orchestra Ferentino, directed by Alessandro Célard, Ica's brothers, the Ensemble of the Conservatory Resonant percussion, directed by Antonio Caggiano and Carlo Di Blasi, Harmony show band Amaseno , directed by Natalie Como until the Band of Ceccano have got 7 beautiful evenings of music, but also reinforced in the crowded public present at each of seratel'idea how many beautiful things in our territory will be able to bring out even in this difficult moment.
And the Festival was also a message for the political class: the music must be supported, you can not be educated people without a proper musical culture and there are many talents among children that should be valued. Last evening was attended by all the directors of the formations that had alternated in the days before, in a kind of contest of skill, based on friendship and mutual emulation. They went the heartfelt thanks of the audience and the hoped to make the festival an event Francesco Alviti stable.
The Festival has led to the composition: m ° Luigi Bartolini has written transcript of Nuovo Cinema Paradiso for wind orchestra, and Maestro Massimo Sarra has composed a Kyrie eleison, both course dedicated to Francis.

In my office as President, in the Conservatory, there is a picture that I care very much. It was taken a couple of years ago, the Academy of the United States, at the end of a percussion concert performed by an ensemble of young people of our Conservatory, directed by Antonio Caggiano. At the center of the photograph is a sacred cow of contemporary music, Steve Reich, visibly pleased with the quality of its songs, which are difficult but full of a mysterious charge that produces an almost hypnotic effect, then there's me and the Director of the Conservatoire D'Anto, and finally the main characters, bursting with energy and retain only the happiness of the event for which they were protagonists.
When the guys gave me the photo I framed and hung behind the desk to witness a moment of joy when I look at it today, I always find myself with a lump in my throat and sent back to the sadness fatigue. In the group, in fact, there's a guy that no longer exists. His face is still a child, with a strange haircut that made me look like a bird that is always putting the feathers first. His name is Francis Alviti, died less than a year after the shooting, for a disease just as quickly as cruel.

Francis Alviti lasts one week and this year has seen him perform about three hundred and fifty young artists, bands, orchestras, ensembles. Many of them have known Francis, many others do not, yet even these are friends that it continues even now that no longer exists, to make friends and to work so that his friends, thanks to him, meet other friends.
